About Me

Ross and Therese in 2008
Welcome to my little blog. My name is Therese. I'm learning to live my roles as wife, daughter, sister, and friend in light of the undeserved mercy God has shown to me. My husband's name is Ross. He's the best and worst thing that ever happened to me.

I like parenthetical expressions, singing when no one can hear me, and drinking black coffee. I'm happiest when I'm outdoors and around people I love. My hobbies include eating, baking, sleeping, reading, running, biking, and swimming. In no particular order.

A lot has happened in the last few years:
I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2007.
I married Ross in 2008.
We moved from Texas to Kansas in 2009.
Ross started grad school in 2010.
I obtained by RNC-NIC in January 2011 and started grad school the fall of that same year.

I'm a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU. I love taking care of "my" babies at work and seeing the miracle of life unfold! The happy days always outweigh the bad when you work with big blessings in such a tiny package. I'm currently juggling work, grad school, and a teaching assistant position.

The summer of 2012, the Lord reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters (Psalm 18:16). I've learned a lot of tough lessons about marriage, idols, and priorities this year. Now I’m learning how to mature in my faith and walk with God daily, not just when I’m in crisis mode.
